In February, 2017, I spent a week tagging along the rangers of the Dian Fossey Foundation around the Volcanos National Park and visiting multiple families of the mountain gorillas. The park is on the borders of Uganda and Congo. The gorillas live in all three countries. Apparently, Rwanda has been the most successful in preventing gorilla poaching. Take a look at my new friends:
